Welcome to the SMART Group PPM Monitoring web site, which provides you the Worlds First Monthly PPM Defect Levels to allow you to benchmark your process.

With support from the Department of Trade & Industry the SMART Group provides this valuable reference source to compare your process performance.

     

SMTA were presented with a PPM Monitoring Award for their support of the SMART Group PPM Monitoring Project. The award was presented to JoAnn Stromgberg at the recent SMTAI Conference in Chicago, the average PPM results are featured on the SMTA web site each month.

SMART Group PPM Monitoring Project was a finalist in the recent “Electronics Industry Design Awards. A certificate was presented to Peter Marshall – SMART Group, Duncan Percival from Dolby Laboratories, Nick Jolly- DTI and Peter Grundy – SMART Group (see photo above). SMART Group are also finalist in the “European Electronics Industry Awards”.

Over 65 engineers attended the launch meeting of The SMART Group PPM (Part Per Million), Monitoring Project supported by the Department of Trade and Industry. The meeting was hosted by Reed Exhibitions, organisers of the Nepcon Exhibitions Group on Thursday 25 April at the Institute of Materials in London. Click here for a full report.
